Trip Overview:

Lobuche lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and has two main peaks, Lobuche Far East and Lobuche East. At 6,119 m, Lobuche East is 26 meters higher.

Although the Lobuche East climb is a bit more challenging than Island Peak climb, it is equally rewarding. From the peak you get amazing views of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori. Lobuche East is also used as a warmup climb for the Everest climbers.

Activities: Trekking and Climbing

Meals: Breakfast in Kathmandu and all meals during the trek & climb

Transportation: Domestic flight and vehicles

Arrive in Kathmandu
Rest day in Kathmandu
Kathmandu to Lukla 2,840m. Trek to Phakding 2,610m.
Trek from Phakding to Namche 3,440m
Rest day and acclimatization day in Namche
Namche to Dhole 4,110m
Dhole to Machhermo 4,410m
Machhermo to Gokyo 4,750m
Climb Gokyo Ri 5,357m and to Thangnak 4,750m
Thangnak to Cho-la Pass 5,240m to Lobuche East Base Camp 4,800m
Rest day at base camp
Base camp to Lobuche East high camp 5,100m
Summit Lobuche East, back to base camp 4,800m
Base camp to Pangboche 3,930m
Pangboche to Namche
Namche to Lukla
Lukla – flight to Kathmandu
Rest day in Kathmandu
