Trip Overview:
Lobuche lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and has two main peaks, Lobuche Far East and Lobuche East. At 6,119 m, Lobuche East is 26 meters higher.
Although the Lobuche East climb is a bit more challenging than Island Peak climb, it is equally rewarding. From the peak you get amazing views of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori. Lobuche East is also used as a warmup climb for the Everest climbers.

Machhermo to Gokyo 4,750m
Climb Gokyo Ri 5,357m and to Thangnak 4,750m
Thangnak to Cho-la Pass 5,240m to Lobuche East Base Camp 4,800m

We can organise this trek on a private basis for groups of friends, families, clubs, charities or any other group. Depending on your previous trekking experience, you may want a Climb High leader or have no ‘leader’ but sill use the help of one of our guides and/or porters. Costs for this option are available on demand but are often not a huge amount greater than joining one of our ‘fixed departures’. As we are a Nepali company, you will need to send your deposit by bank transfer to our bank account in Kathmandu. This is a completely safe process and may be done at any UK, European, Aus/NZ or US bank in a few minutes. Some banking websites even allow this to be done online.

- Equipment
Trekkers need to provide their own personal clothing and equipment. It is recommended that you use tried and tested kit on the trip rather than relying on brand new kit you’re not sure of.
