In October 2013 14 members of the British Army from the Royal Army Medical Corps completed ‘Expedition Northern Jorvik Ascent’ with Climb High Himalaya – an ascent of Lobuche East in the Everest Region.
The RAMC were delighted with the trip, commenting:
‘Our special thanks to you all and your team for the wonderful service the company provided during the Expedition. The members were delighted in every way and appreciated the extra hospitality. The extra time and effort you put in were certainly worthwhile.

A huge thank you to the team at Climb High Himalaya for putting together the trip of a life time for all Expedition members from the AMS. Eight made it to the summit LOBUCHE EAST regardless of the conditions. The company management, hospitality were amazing, experienced climbing guides,porters and logistic team were outstanding. Could not have asked for a better trip.
